Role Summary
Our client is undertaking an end-to-end procurement transformation programme that will result in significant changes to its technology, processes and organisation.

They immediately require a Project Manager with procurement transformation experience to define and deliver the business readiness activities required to implement these changes effectively.

Role Detail
The Project Manager will lead the team and be heavily involved in business outreach and stakeholder management.
Key activities will include:
* Engaging with business stakeholders and sponsors to create strong user involvement and sponsor buy-in
* Defining and scoping business readiness activities to ensure that the implications of forthcoming changes are clearly understood and sequenced
* Co-ordinating with the project team to ensure that business requirements are correctly fed into solution designs
* Reporting on project status to the project steering board, managing milestones, risks, issues dependencies and budgets
* Facilitating and coordinating training, communication, UAT etc.


Key Skills and Requirements
* Procurement transformation experience (not in category expenditure but in implementing IT, process and business change across this function)


* Strong change management pedigree, with particular expertise in planning and implementing business readiness activities around IT or Process Led transformation initiatives


*Degree qualified, with well-rounded project management skills (PM qualifications  advantageous), strong stakeholder engagement, excellent oral and written communications
