Role Summary
Our client is a leading international media company with 25 million customers across 14 countries.  They have a multichannel strategy to serve their clients with stores, service centre and digital presence.

They are looking for a consultant with experience of owning the technical roadmap for a customer facing website (platform).   The successful candidate will have a proven technical track record delivering/managing change to a high transaction rate customer facing website.



Details
The role holder will be the primary interface through to Solution Design, Technical Delivery and Test Teams for 'Customer Facing' platform changes.


In particular they are responsible for:


* Owning technology Roadmap for 'Customer Facing' platform (covering all planned  changes including Business Backed Projects so that there's a clear view on everything that's planned for the platform).
* Defining governance of the technical workstreams for the 'Customer Facing' platform.
* Planning technical delivery and releases (with Implementation Manager) for 'Customer Facing' platform.
* Ensuring consistency across workstream and technology end-to-end plans for 'Customer Facing' platform deliveries.
* Managing the technical teams to deliver designs, software and infrastructure to agreed budget and timescales.
* Managing Technology governance process for the 'Customer Facing' platform, to include status reports and RAID logs.
* Reporting to Senior Sales SI on status of the 'Customer Facing' technical delivery against plan
* Resolving cross-programme technical workstream conflicts and escalations
* Managing the Project through technical delivery gates in line with agreed Company methodology
* Managing the Project budget for the technology changes (into budget owner)
* Managing 3rd party vendors (design to test complete)
* Ensuring technology team has appropriate skills and resource allocations
* Managing change control of milestone dates across technology plans
* Supporting Overall Sales SI in production of status reports for Programme/ Sponsors.
* Central point of contact for change control in the technology workstream for 'Customer Facing' platform changes.






Key skills and Requirements



* Demonstrable track record managing the changes to a Customer Facing website of  a FTSE 250 type organisation

* Strong technical understanding of 'front end' and 'back end' web based applications, their design, development, test and release

* It is likely this person will have worked for or worked closely with one of the large consulting based Systems Integrators

Role Detail

This role reports into the TV Programme Manager, and involves managing a sizeable team of internal staff and external vendors, and at a high level they will be responsible for:

* leading the project team to define and deliver the end to end business outcomes on which the project is reliant.  This includes both the technical delivery and the associated revision to business processes to use that technology.
* the timely delivery of project within governance and to budget.
* the definition of deliverables to meet defined benefits and ensure that the project produces the required deliverables, to the agreed standard of quality and within  the specified constraints of cost, risk and time.

Role Detail
This role reports into the STB Project Manager, and involves managing 1 + junior  business analysts.


The Senior Business Analyst, will be involved throughout the full lifecycle of the project, and will be responsible for:
* Engaging with senior stakeholders in multiple business areas to confirm and document business needs
* Acting as a conduit between business and technology groups to ensure that business objectives are optimised by the technology
* Conducting feasibility studies and producing high level business cases to support the proposed changes
* Producing requirements documentation to a high standard that meet stakeholder needs, using requirements modelling techniques as appropriate.
* Managing the requirements throughout the project lifecycle; ensuring effective  scope control and requirements traceability; planning and conduct UAT
* Reviewing deliverables produced by other Business Analysts on the project
* Evaluating proposed business and technology solutions and ensuring that they meet the requirements
* Working with change management teams to confirm changes to processes, org structures or procedures arising from the deployment.


Skills and Experience Required


Mandatory
* Previous experience of working on STB releases in broadcast / TV /media environments
* Full lifecycle business analysis experience, demonstrating the ability to gain  consensus on requirements in complex, matrixed organisations


Desirable
* Experience of working on projects to deliver software enhancements and products  to market
* BA qualifications (e.g. ISEB, IIBA etc)

Role Summary
Our client, a niche consultancy, is working with a global manufacturing company to set up a new internal function to provide Integration Services across the group.

This new function will define and implement a world class target architecture and IT operating environment, instill globally consistent governance practices, and provide effective integration support to project and programme teams throughout the project lifecycle.

They require an interim project manager with a strong SDLC background and appreciation of large and complex architectures and IT environments to manage the organisational and process workstreams required to set up this new function.

n.b. although an appreciation of IT and architecture is required, this is not a hands-on technical or architect role.

Role Detail
The project manager will report directly to the Consulting Engagement Director.

The mobilisation workstreams cover the definition of a target architecture and environment, a detailed operating model with supporting polices and procedures, and a demand / resource planning process.

The role will include the following responsibilities:
* Monitor the day to day deliverables and milestones of the Integration Services  team
* Maintain, evolve and manage the essential plans, deliverables, governance and quality process across all workstreams
* Provide support for the day-to-day activities of the team and ensure effective  mobilisation and effectiveness of resources to delivery against agreed plans
* Liaise with key project / programme personnel to understand future demand for Integration services and plan effective utilisation of the team to provide appropriate levels of service
* Develop and deliver appropriate MI on Integration Services for publication to all stakeholders
* Maintain and action the RAID log, escalate issues and concerns to the Function  Head or Engagement Director, as necessary.
* Develop and drive a communications plan to stakeholders and the project community that will drive adoption of new processes, patterns and practices.  Work with main client IT departments to help align processes and outputs
* Develop the detail of the function's strategy and roadmap, supporting the Function Head in developing the detail behind the vision, strategy and roadmap for the function
* Provide input and co-ordinate the development and publication of the Integration Services operating model and guide.



Skills and Experience Required


* Strong experience of how SDLC methodologies are used in large and complex IT environments
* Experienced in planning and managing different programmes including technical,  organisational, process and business driven initiatives
* Good understanding of the role and benefits of enterprise architecture
* Strong all round Project Management skills with supporting qualifications

Role Summary


Our Client is a small but growing supplier of platform software which connects multiple clients in the Criminal Justice arena to improve the education of Offenders.  This is a priority area for investment by Government, from which the business is benefiting, by supplying cloud based data partnerships to enable multiple agencies to work together securely.

They are looking for an IT Project Manager with great client facing skills and extensive experience delivering end to end web-based software solutions to work on one of their main client accounts.

The role is based in London with some travel to client sites.




Role Description


The primary objective of the role is to ensure the smooth and timely deployment of new software releases with a strong focus on client management.


As such, the role has two main components:


1) Client / Relationship Management


* Ascertain what is important to the client, shaping and controlling scope, building momentum around new releases

* Report progress on new releases, manage expectations , change requirements, meet deadlines

* Build effective and sustainable client relationships, establish trust and credibility

* Manage multiple stakeholders


2) Project Management


* Plan, directing and co-ordinating activities to implement projects from initiation to final operational stage

* Manage RAIDs from project start-up through the lifecycle of the project

Key skills and Requirements



* Strong project management skills, SDLC experienced, with strong track record of IT Delivery (preferably in web-based solutions)

* Proven experience of developing strong client relationships through effective service delivery (preferably in the Public Sector)

* Methodical and structured, but with the ability to adapt management style to work effectively and deliver in small, less structured environments
