Role Summary

Our client is a consulting company working with a major outsourcer on a significant bid for a new facilities management contract.

They are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to be responsible for managing a global bid team preparing a response to a financial services organisation's request for proposal for worldwide facilities management services.

The right candidate will have a proven track record of leading significant bid teams to win multi-million pound deals.

Details

We are looking for a Senior Bid Manager with a strong technical project management background and experience of managing large bids. Understanding of financial market trading and retail banking operations and a good understanding of the corporate real estate and facilities management service provision will also be important for the role.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with managing large teams of client staff, have considerable experience of using the tools and disciplines of project management effectively and will be confident in taking responsibility of a key bid opportunity in a demanding sector on behalf of senior client directors.

Key skills and Requirements

* A proven track record of leading successful RFP responses (>5 years)
* Familiarity with or knowledge of international banking operational services: retail and trading operations
* Knowledge of or experience in of corporate real estate and facilities management services

The role will be based in London, but may require significant international travel (possibly up to 25-40%).

Role Summary

Our client is a Data and Information Provider which has recently updated its strategy to increase the scale of its activities and improve their delivery. The business has a strong brand and is seeking to reposition itself and regain its direction.

A new MD is in place and is looking for a right hand support person to help him in the task of structuring and driving through the business improvement initiatives which follow on from the Strategy.

The new strategy is being communicated in the next few weeks and the high level objectives will need to be turned into projects to be delivered. The organization is not strong in this area and the support person will assist and represent the MD in the business to help realize the business improvements identified.

The Role would suit someone who has experience of working in a Programme Management Office (PMO) environment with a 'get it done' reputation, high energy and initiative.

Details

This role includes the following activities:

* Supporting and working under the Direction of the MD
* Working with him to identify, structure and manage initiatives resulting from the recent Strategy Review.
* Helping to decide what to stop and start doing
* Deciding how to document and keep track of Projects once they have started.
* Helping to drive through the Projects with the relevant people responsible in the business acting with the authority of the MD.
* Helping the MD to Improve Project Planning and Project Management Disciplines in the business.

Key skills and Requirements

* High energy person willing to act on minimal guidance supporting the Managing Director in implementing the Business Improvement Initiatives.

* The capability to provide assistance with planning, controlling, reporting and delivering projects and improving these disciplines in the business.

* Some experience of operating on projects in complex and geographically diverse organisations

B2E Consulting is attempting to secure a position on a new Government Framework Contract through which all consultancy spend for the next 3 years in the £0.1m to £2.0m range will be managed.

Role Summary

Our client is a Global Energy Company with a significant and growing Global Learning Organisation (GLO) based in West London. They currently support 70% of all global programme delivery which equates to approx 1300 classroom sessions and 30,000+ delegates attending. This activity creates a large amount of data that needs to be analysed and controlled to generate the accurate management information required by the business.

They are looking for a Data/Business Analyst to join the Learning Systems and Performance team on an interim basis. This role reports to the Systems and Performance Manager and requires up to 5 years relevant business/data analyst experience.

Details

The role has a global remit and the primary accountability is to ensure the team has accurate data in the data systems in place, as well as to assist the reporting analyst to create the appropriate reports to service the needs/interests of various stakeholder groups. Given GLO's remit in mobilising global, and often mandatory programmes, the level, detail and accuracy of data and data systems is critical to ensure accurate reporting for Senior Executive confidence and assure budget spend.

All data systems need to be analysed to ensure all data sources have up to date, correct and quality data information. Where the data needs updating, the data analyst will initiate projects as well as taking over existing projects to cleanse the data, liaising in conjunction with the stakeholders who range from the VTA Team, RISC Team, IBM Team, Systems and Performance Team, Delivery and Logistics teams as well as the executive.

One of the key tools is Dataflux - GLO's de-facto data reconciliation (ETL) tool.
This role is also responsible for on-going support towards the GLO data systems in conjunction with the offshore IT&S teams.

As the data analyst you will be involved in overseeing aspects of day to day data issues within the wider global learning and development team. You will act as the bridge for troubleshooting issues related to all aspects of data and data systems within GLO.

* SQL - nice to have; Dataflux and VTA can be taught
