Our client immediately requires an experienced Business Readiness Manager to successfully embed a challenging and exciting set of B2C product and service projects within their Mobile & Telco business this year.

This role is all about ensuring that any changes made to business operations are completely assessed, recognised and planned in order to optimise smooth, efficient and effective transition

Leading the Business Readiness workstream, you will be responsible for managing the integration of change whilst minimising any disruption to ongoing service and operations.

You will act as the key point of contact between project teams and the business to ensure that new B2C product or service deliveries are embedded smoothly, effectively and efficiently into the business

·         Experience:

o    5+ years business readiness/change implementation experience
o    full lifecycle experience of embedding change into day-to-day business operations
o    hands on experience with day-to-day business operability, as well as technical project/programme environments
o    an excellent track record as an effective workstream lead, in challenging time-bound projects

·         Business Readiness Expert:

o    Strong appreciation of the complexities and challenges during the implementation of products/projects into BAU both from a business and project/programme perspective.

·         Relationship Management:

o    Demonstrable skills and expertise in engaging with and building effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 

·         Working Environment:

o    Track record of operating effectively and autonomously in a matrixed, fast moving, dynamic, challenging, release-orientated business environment.

Our client immediately requires a business focussed Senior Business Analyst to work on their mobile strategic change programme.



Key Accountabilities:

Reporting directly to the Project Manager and the Head of Business Analysis you will be accountable for delivering the business analysis for this Programme.  

Accountabilities include (but are not limited to):

·         Taking full responsibility for the Business Analysis
·         Determining the appropriate analysis approach
·         Engaging with senior stakeholders in multiple business areas to scope business needs
·         Acting as a conduit between key business stakeholders and technology
·         Accountable for the elicitation and analysis of complex high level and detailed requirements.
·         Producing requirements documentation to a high standard that meet stakeholder needs, using requirements modelling techniques as appropriate.
·         Managing the requirements throughout the project lifecycle; ensuring effective scope control and ensuring solution compliance to requirements is traceable through to implementation.
·         Evaluating proposed business and technology solutions to ensure that they met the business requirements
·         Working with business readiness teams to ensure smooth transition of new products / services into operation


Desired Skills & Experience:

Mandatory

·         Experience Level: 5+ years Business Analysis experience with a proven track record of delivery within large, structured programme environments containing blended teams (e.g. permanent, contract, vendor, SI, Business/IT/operational teams).  Demonstrating full-lifecycle experience
·         BA SME: Well-rounded BA skillset, with a strong appreciation of BA methodologies (e.g. Prince 2, Waterfall, Iterative (RUP) and Agile (SCRUM) with the ability to use or pick up appropriate BA tools and approaches to match the requirement (e.g. BPMN, Use Case, Wireframes, MOSCOW)
·         Industry and / or Domain experience: Experience of mobile or telco programmes
·         Environment experience: Demonstrable track record of operating effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, challenging and delivery focussed project / programme environment.

Desirable

·         Qualified through experience or training in BA Methodologies (e.g. ISEB, IIBA, CBAP, CCBA).

Details

The client is seeking a Business Analyst responsible for articulating business requirements to the technical teams. They will be responsible for the following activities:
 

·         Work with the business in designing effective and efficient solutions.
·         Deliver business cases, high level requirements, process analysis (as-is and to-be flowcharts), business requirements and UAT scenarios.
·         Provide challenge where required, identify and evaluate options for meeting business needs.
·         Analyse operating procedures, work flow improvements, organisational changes, introduction of controls and procedures, etc.
·         Perform gap analysis to proposed solutions and assess the impact of change on systems, interfaces, processes and people.
·         Provide guidance and advice to delivery teams (e.g. technical development, testing, training) and ensure business requirements have been interpreted correctly.
·         Work with external third party suppliers when required.
·         Engage effectively with the business throughout implementation of change, benefits realisation and ensuring a smooth hand over of change initiatives.


Key Skills and Requirements 

Mandatory

  • At least 5 years Business Analysis Experience with an ability to gather Requirements from senior stakeholders
  • Broad based BA experience covering people, process and technology change
  • Not a ‘techy’ but has a good understanding of technology

This role is all about scope and business case management; programme vision and blueprint development; benefits and quality tracking; stakeholder management materials; programme, tranche and project planning, including milestone management; risk and issue management.

Key Accountabilities: 

Reporting to the Programme Manager, The Senior PMO Lead is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Programme Management Office team and outputs, and amongst other things, will be responsible for the following:

·         design and implementation of appropriate programme controls
·         production of reporting packs (eg steering group, programme reporting) and supporting materials
·         management of overall programme budget
·         benefit identification and realisation

Key Accountabilities:

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing governance standards for the project according to the appropriate project lifecycle methodology (including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project deliverables)
  • Maintaining and co-ordinating the project RAID log
  • Ensuring project plans are created and maintained, deliverables tracked against time and cost, and resource utilisation is monitored
  • Preparing consolidated MI reporting packs for regular project and programme level reporting cycles (financials, plans, resourcing summaries RAID logs etc.) 

KEY Skills/Requirements:

Our client is a retailer introducing an ERP system into their business starting with the Finance area and moving on to their Supply chain.  

The Solution Architect has been developing their Data Model but as the “go lives” start and the more complex work on the Supply chain side begins, they require a Data Architect to provide backfill for the IT Solution Architect on the ERP Architecture.

The organisation is reducing 100 plus systems to 10 and the role requires an experienced Data Architect to work on the building blocks of  the solutions and data road map for the new systems

This is a 12 week project initially with potential for further work.

The Consultant will be responsible for developing an IT Data Architecture roadmap.  They will be responsible for the following activities:

·         Develop and maintain a data dictionary including definitions, business owners and uses of data

·         Develop a roadmap for a data warehouse to be a single repository for all originating business data

·         Define the model to provide the deployment of data and tools for specialised data management such as CRM

·         Define the roadmap to align with the implementation of the ERP

·         Develop and agree a data cleansing and archiving strategy

·         Drive the delivery of the Data Architecture

·         Manage colleague expectations at all stages of the development process

·         Keep simplifying the customer experience
