Role Summary

Our Client provides enterprise-level strategic decision support software for the  Defence Sector.  Their products address challenges in Defence Capability and Resourcing based on Simulation Modelling software which is configurable to new programmes and services. These software based solutions are used as evidence and make safer and  more cost-effective use of military resources.  They enable Defence forces to procure greater 'Capability' at lower cost.

The role would suit someone with a Defence background or a consultant who has worked in the Defence field.

Details

Reporting to the Executive Team, this role will take responsibility for:

* Understanding client requirements and translating these into solutions.
* Developing the configurable simulation core of client-deployed solutions
* Working on projects with a blend of analysis creativity and innovation.

Key skills and Requirements 

* Demonstrable consulting & problem-structuring skills
* Simulation modelling experience (Ideally experience of Systems Dynamics)
* Operational Research background (or other numerate degree like Mathematics or
Engineering)
* Defence-sector experience with UK security clearance
* Able to travel.

Our Client is a Financial Services Organisation which is undertaking a system implementation to support key processes in several of its Divisions.  The programme is to be delivered in four releases up to the end of 2015.  This is a substantial piece of work with a number of workstreams affecting over 500 people in the organization.

They require consultancy input into the Business Case for this project.  Some of  this work has already been done but requires refinement and greater precision.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience of Public Sector business case development to be part of this bid.

The work is for 10 weeks starting on the 5th August and the candidate would need  to be immediately available for input to the bid/interviews.

Details

The IT Service Delivery Consultant will be responsible for: 

* Planning and executing the Service Improvement Plan
* Providing coordination and day to day management of the Service Improvement Plan
* Delivery of remediation elements within the Plan

Mandatory 

* ITIL and IT Service Operations experience.
* Experience within a support function within a large organisation.

Our Client is a Financial Services Regulatory Organisation looking for Solution Architect resources to cover Portfolio Projects  during the summer holiday period.  A number of Project and Programmes are in a critical phases and have the potential to overload the existing Solution Architects during the holiday period.   

Therefore Solution Architects are required so that the team remains at full strength to deliver against the plans.  Experience with Financial Regulation Organisations would help given the short term nature of the role.
 
Details 

The resource will be responsible for delivery of the following:

* Gathering architectural framework for existing legacy systems

Details 

The Strategic Project Analyst will be responsible for the following activities. 

* Leading analysis for strategy projects including requirements gathering and clarifying, identifying  sources, scoping research requirements and aggregating and presenting results.

* Lead consultations in support of projects with strategy project managers and generally with partners and senior individuals in the firm

* Take the initiative to feed strategic information to the business in order to drive appropriate      decisions.

Role Summary

Our Client is a Financial Services Regulatory body which has a requirement for a  Technical Test Manager to work on two Infrastructure Projects.  The Projects are to do with Active Directory and Network Simplification. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing infrastructure against non-functional requirements.

Details

The Test Manager will be responsible for the following activities:

* Gain an understanding of the Network Topology and Server Configurations

* Deciding on and using suitable Infrastructure systems testing processes (typically those adopted in a financial services organization)

* Providing a rapid response to issues that arise, supporting and enabling business priorities.

* Identifying problems and seeing solutions through to resolution

* Interacting with both business and technology groups.

Key Skills and Requirements 

* A successful track record as an Infrastructure Test Manager with a good understanding of Test Management and Project Management Methodologies  (NB this is not a Software/UAT Test Manager role)

* A detailed understanding of Network Lay Out and Server Configurations ideally with previous experience leading the testing of an Active Directory implementation/overhaul

* Pragmatic approach to infrastructure projects in a challenging infrastructure environment.

* Experience Managing testing projects using HP ALM
