FILLED: Interim DM4100 PMO Analyst - Professional Services - East London

Summary:

Our client is a well known Global Professional Services firm. They are looking for a PMO to work on a fixed contract for 11 months to cover maternity leave in their Global Programme Office working on Business As Usual services.

Role:

The Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the administration and coordination of PMO Services. The role will include the following activities:

· Creating, maintaining and updating project plans, milestones and dependencies.
· Maintaining and Quality Assuring project processes and documentation
· Prioritising Projects and the upcoming Pipeline
· Risk and Issues Management
· Running workshops for planning and lessons learned.

The consultant will also be responsible for managing small projects as and when they arise and supporting Project Managers and Business Analysts with various project activities.

KEY skills/requirements:

Extensive experience in Programme Management Office and ability to manage smaller projects.
Prince 2 Qualified
Experience in a Professional service firm


Logistics:

Rate: Annualised fixed contract salary £45,000 to £55,000

Summary:

The client is an investment bank undergoing a finance transformation project.

They are looking for two Project Managers, with Senior Investment Banking IT Transformation experience to deliver a number of IT projects.

Role:

These roles will involve the following activities.

· Identifying and scoping projects
· Budgeting and staffing for project requirements
· Structuring the programme and developing PID’s
· Managing the projects on time against quality and budgetary requirements
· Resolve or escalate issues and risks
· Manage stakeholders



KEY skills/requirements:


12 Years+ in Investment Banking IT Environment

Summary:

The client is an investment bank undergoing a finance transformation project.

They are looking for two PMO consultants, a senior and a junior, who have specialist experience of PMO activity and who have worked in the finance function in the Banking Sector (Investment Banking, Asset Management, Private Banking)

Role:

These roles require a specialist PMO to undertake the following activities.

· Project set up, and Governance
· Developing work plans and milestones.
· Tracking Resources, Activities, Issues and Dependencies and escalating issues
· Tracking and managing changes
· Resource planning prioritization and budgeting.
· Project reporting

KEY skills/requirements:


6 years + in Investment Banking IT

FILLED: INTERIM DM4097 Finance Solution Architect (Oracle)

Summary:

Our client is a Government Ministry involved predominately overseas. It is consolidating its Finance, HR/Payroll and Procurement processes in a Corporate Service Centre (CSC) in Milton Keynes. They require a Solution Architect with a knowledge of Oracle to design the new processes and system solutions.
The consultant will need to be Security Cleared and preference will be given to those with current Security Clearance.

Role:
The first phase (3 months) of this project will be to consolidate the activities of some of the overseas offices in the new CSC. The consultant will be responsible for developing suitable process solutions to make the consolidation happen. This will require a practical knowledge of the system (Oracle 11) and ways of working around it to get the new CSC up and running.

The consultant will also develop SLA agreements and agree and implement Key Performance indicators with the CSC and the offices.

The next phase (8 months) will be to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the core operations. This will involve designing, documenting and building solutions to reengineer the core processes.

The consultant will identify process improvements and prioritise, plan and scope the IT changes acting as an interface between the Process teams and the IT department. They will be responsible for facilitating and managing the testing of the process and system changes.

KEY skills/requirements:
This is not a deep technical role but requires a practical knowledge of Process to Pay Reengineering and Oracle systems.

The consultant must have:

Finance Process Reengineering and Solution experience
Good Knowledge of Purchase to Pay Processes.
Oracle background

Current Security Clearance is desirable and consultants with it will be preferred.
