Role:

They are looking for a Consultant to start up a new practice within the Financial Services division based on the Solvency II European regulations for the Insurance industry. They will need to have a strong background in the Financial services and Insurance sectors a good understanding of risk and regulation and will be responsible for developing the practice


KEY skills/requirements:

The successful candidate will have the contacts and knowledge to find business and to develop the delivery capability in the area of Solvency II regulation.

A blue chip consulting past with strong leadership, business development and delivery skills
In depth experience of system change programmes related to Solvency II
The drive and capability to get a new practice going within a large IT services business.

DM4078 Procurment Consultant Public Sector - London

Summary:

Our client is a Public Sector organization based in East London undergoing a £200m Strategic Partnership Procurement Programme to outsource services.

They are looking for a public sector procurement consultant to advise the Finance department and the programme team on the options for partnership. The process will go through Dialogue with partners and then Evaluation of the options for outsourcing the process.

This role could be PART TIME which would be preferred.

Role:
The consultant will report to the Programme Director and Advise the Finance Department on the options for the Public Private Partnership.

The role will be to:

· Advise on Commercial implications of different outsourcing approaches
· Contribute to the service pricing dialogue
· Model the Price Payment mechanism and attendant Risks of different options
· Implications - tax, etc. - of different JV structures.

KEY skills/requirements:

· Public sector procurement process experience
· PPP/outsourcing commercial experience
· Commercial mindset probably accountant

Context:
Our client, a young and vibrant niche consultancy, has a requirement for two dynamic Finance Transformation Consultants to join its progressive organisation and work on a number of sold client engagements.

Role and Responsibilities

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

· 3-5 years experience at either a top tier management consultancy or accountancy (a senior consultant or junior manager in ‘consulting-speak’)
· full lifecycle project experience of transforming the finance function (e.g. FSS, BPO, BPR)
· An accounting, finance or numerate background – an ACA qualification would be an advantage
· Confidence, commitment, ambition, self motivation and excellent communication / written skills

Project Management qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential (Prince 2, MSP)


This role will suit someone who meets all of the above criteria AND is looking to rapidly progress their career in the Finance Transformation domain within a niche organisation.

This role would suit someone with 4-5 years of experience of Process Consulting in a large consulting firm, who is looking to move into industry whilst still using the skills learned as a consultant.

THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE (SALARY £40K) WITH A 3 MONTH TRIAL PERIOD ON BOTH SIDES ON A CONTRACT BASIS

The Role:

This role will make a fundamental impact on the whole European business on supplying the products to the markets while making sure maximum profitability with impact on the company's performance both locally in Europe, and also worldwide.
