Summary

Our client has an immediate requirement for an experienced interim Finance Transformation Business Leader to complete the separation of the Finance function from the selling company and subsequently optimise this standalone function within the new business venture.

Project Role
The Finance Transformation Business Leader will work closely with the Backoffice Transformation leader, other functional teams and the IT team to define the "to be" end state, establish a road map, prioritise programmes of activity and lead execution of individual programme from business requirements through to successful implementation.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, with approximately 5 direct reports, the Finance Transformation Business Leader will be expected to:

· Provide overall business leadership and coaching for all finance aspects of the separation and transformation programme in close collaboration with other functions.
· Take overall responsibility for determining how new processes previously undertaken by a shared service centre will be handled by the standalone Finance function (e.g. payroll)
· Assist with the definition of the Finance function target operating model and develop the solutions road map
· Shape, prioritise, manage and deliver the portfolio of Finance separation & transformation initiatives (approx £5m Programme) to ensure that costs, risks, issues, dependencies and status are tracked and benefits realised
· Engage with relevant members of the Finance team and other teams with interdependencies to ensure full buy-in and support


Experience and skills

When applying for this role you will need to have:

· Batchelor University Degree (professional finance qualification preferable)
· 10 years + experience of transforming and optimising Finance in a leading role
· Deep Finance domain expertise, with best practise HR knowledge and working knowledge of other back office functions
· Prior experience with successful ERP implementation/business transformations
· The required change management, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills to drive change throughout an organisation

This transformation involves significant process improvement and enhancement, so any lean / six sigma training would also be advantageous.

Role:

The role requires a consultant with an investment banking background and finance transformation skills. They should ideally have worked for Big 5 consultancy at a senior level. They will have to deal with back office processes for investment banking products including Fixed income, FI derivatives, Equities, Equity Derivatives, OTC, FX and Money Market products.

Summary

Our client, a leading utilities organisation, has an urgent requirement for an interim digital/web project manager to deliver an innovative multi-channel digital initiative commissioned to communicate new 'corporate sustainability' messages out to its customers and shareholders.

Role and Responsibilities

The Digital / Web project manager will be expected to:

They immediately require a pragmatic, results-driven individual project manager to lead multiple business related projects from initial requirements through to delivery using both internal technical teams and external vendors.


An appreciation of business context and technical understanding are required along with an ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed global organisation and a fast-paced environment.
