FILLED: Interim #DM4085 European Public Sector - Job Evaluation Project

Summary
Our client, a niche consultancy, has an immediate requirement for an experienced trainer/facilitator who is familiar with points-based job evaluation methodology to work with an Eastern European public sector client.

Role and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be part of a 3 man team working closely with appointed users from the client.

The primary activities will be:

Mobilise the job evaluation group within the client (approximately 20-25 people working part-time)
Train the job evaluation group in all aspects of the job evaluation program (e.g. writing job descriptions, interviewing, gathering data)
Set up web-based filing folders, databases, knowledge capital as appropriate
Provide on-the-job support to the job evaluation team as they progress with writing job descriptions, then remote assistance as required
Review all deliverables and outputs by the group (job descriptions, job factors, job scores)
Facilitate production of draft job classification approach and job evaluation methodology.

Skills / Experience

Candidates applying for this role:

· Must be experienced facilitators/trainers
· Must be familiar with points-based job evaluation methodology
· Must be willing and available to travel to Romania at least 3 times and work on this assignment on a part-time basis over a 12 week period.
Candidates will preferably have a public sector background either as an HR employee or as an HR consultant.

Part time – approximately 20 days work over a 12 week period.
Rate:
£400 per day + travel expenses.
Location:
3-4 trips to Romania + based at home

Public Sector Infrastructure Programme Manager – Arab Speaker - Tripoli


Summary:

Our client is a Consultancy company working in the Middle East. They have an opportunity at an early stage for work on large infrastructure projects in Libya and are looking for an Arab speaking consultant to work there.

Role:

The country has largescale funding available for infrastructure development projects with largescale rebuilding taking place with a US$ 280bn budget. Projects include housing, utilities, transport, education, etc. They need senior programme architects with heavy Public Sector programme experience.



KEY skills/requirements:

• Arab Speaking Consultant
• Public Sector infrastructure experience.
• Disciplines covering good commercial, programme management and capacity building experience.

Summary:

Our client is an IT Services Company, a major player in the industry. They offer the complete range of IT services - from consulting and outsourcing to focused technology and solutions. They work across most industries. This role is focused within their financial services division.

Role:

They are looking for a Consultant to start up a new practice within the Financial Services division based on the Solvency II European regulations for the Insurance industry. They will need to have a strong background in the Financial services and Insurance sectors a good understanding of risk and regulation and will be responsible for developing the practice


KEY skills/requirements:

The successful candidate will have the contacts and knowledge to find business and to develop the delivery capability in the area of Solvency II regulation.

They will have:

A blue chip consulting past with strong leadership, business development and delivery skills
In depth experience of system change programmes related to Solvency II
The drive and capability to get a new practice going within a large IT services business.

FILLED: DM4078 Procurment Consultant Public Sector - London

Summary:

Our client is a Public Sector organization based in East London undergoing a £200m Strategic Partnership Procurement Programme to outsource services.

They are looking for a public sector procurement consultant to advise the Finance department and the programme team on the options for partnership. The process will go through Dialogue with partners and then Evaluation of the options for outsourcing the process.

This role could be PART TIME which would be preferred.

Role:
The consultant will report to the Programme Director and Advise the Finance Department on the options for the Public Private Partnership.

The role will be to:

· Advise on Commercial implications of different outsourcing approaches
· Contribute to the service pricing dialogue
· Model the Price Payment mechanism and attendant Risks of different options
· Implications - tax, etc. - of different JV structures.

KEY skills/requirements:

· Public sector procurement process experience
· PPP/outsourcing commercial experience
· Commercial mindset probably accountant
