Role Summary
Our client, a leading multi-channel broadcast media company, immediately requires a Senior Business Analyst with Telco / Mobile experience to work on a number of exciting new B2C product and service launches throughout 2015.

Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the Mobile & Telco Project Manager and the Head of Business Analysis you will be accountable for delivering the business analysis for one or more Mobile / Telco projects within an exciting and challenging roadmap of new B2C product and service launches.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Takes full responsibility for the Business Analysis
  • Determines the appropriate analysis approach
  • Engages with senior stakeholders in multiple business areas to scope business needs
  • Acts as a conduit between key business stakeholders and technology
  • Accountable for the elicitation and analysis of complex high level and detailed requirements.
  • Producing requirements documentation to a high standard that meet stakeholder needs, using requirements modelling techniques as appropriate.
  • Managing the requirements throughout the project lifecycle; ensuring effective scope control and ensuring solution compliance to requirements is traceable through to implementation.
  • Evaluation of proposed business and technology solutions to ensure that they met the business requirements
  • Working with business readiness teams to ensure smooth transition of new products / services into operation
Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Mandatory:

  • Proven record of delivering business analysis within the Mobile / Telco environment (preferably on B2C projects)
  • Multiple full lifecycle project experiences; from start up to implementation (5+ years BA experience minimum)
  • Experienced in delivering business analysis within large and complex programmes with multiple programme stakeholders (permanent / contract / vendor / Systems Integrators)
  • Effective at working autonomously and comfortable operating in fast paced release orientated working environments
Desirable

  • Business analysis qualifications (e.g. ISEB Business Analysis Diploma, IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), IIBA Certificate of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) or equivalent).

Role Summary 

Our client, a leading multi-channel broadcast media company, immediately requires an experienced Project Manager with Broadband, or Telco/Mobile delivery experience to join its Broadband Programme and work on a number of exciting B2C releases in 2015. 
 
 
Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the Broadband Programme Manager you will be primarily be accountable for:
 
1) working with business stakeholders and product owners to make the "scope versus schedule" decisions to lead to the best possible product delivered within fixed timescales
2) delivering one or more broadband projects required to deliver innovative B2C product offerings throughout 2015.
Key Accountabilities

Manage a sizeable project team of internal staff and external vendors (up to 30+ people across 3-4 work streams, including internal, contract, 3rd party suppliers and Systems Integrator Partners)
  • Lead the project team to define and deliver the end to end business outcomes on which the project is reliant.  This includes both the technical delivery and the associated revision to business processes to use that technology.
  • Deliver the project(s) to agreed milestones, quality standards, and budget.
  • Manage and be accountable for all aspects of cross-project risk, issues, and dependencies
  • Identify, track and manage intra & inter programme/portfolio dependencies with other business initiatives and key projects proactively
  • Engage, contract and manage 3rd party vendors where appropriate
  • Build strong sustainable relationships with project and business stakeholders
Provide appropriate project MI externally and for steering committee meetings
 
Key Skills and Requirements 
Mandatory
  • Ideally Broadband or if not then Mobile / Telco industry experience (preferably delivering B2C projects)
  • Multiple full lifecycle Project Management delivery experience utilising recognised PM methodologies  (e.g. Prince 2, Agile, Waterfall, MSP)
  • Comfortable managing large, matrixed project teams (containing internal, external, 3rd party suppliers, systems integrators)
  • Experience of managing cross-functional workstreams to deliver E2E plans for the launch of new products or services (preferably B2C)
Desirable
Formal project management qualifications (e.g. Prince 2, PMP, Agile etc).

Aside from their growth plans they are under increasing regulatory pressure and have a series of projects planned for 2015 and beyond.  The client is also introducing Microsoft Dynamics as their ERP system and the basis for their E Commerce platform.


They are looking for an ambitious Business Analyst to work within their Change Management Team joining around 10 other professionals focused on helping them change and grow their business.  This is a permanent position based in Watford.

Our client is retailer with over 300 stores.  They are expanding store numbers and their online presence and require a project manager with Supply Chain experience.
 
The primary need is to manage a project to make changes to their distribution sites to improve the availability and range of product. This involves opening and relocating distribution depots including the people, process and technology implications.

In addition the client is introducing Microsoft Dynamics as their ERP system which E Commerce platform.  It is hoped that the new project manager will bring some experience of relevance to this project too.

They are looking for a Project Manager with experience in reconfiguring distribution centres to join the Change Management team and play a key role in the delivery of high priority Supply Chain and E-Commerce projects over the next 2 years.

Our client is an exciting and fast paced software company working with the world's largest online fashion retailers and fashion brands. Their platform connects Brands and Retailers systems to enable a supplier’s fulfil model by integration of a Brand's products onto the websites of premium online fashion retailers. 

They have some heavy weight retail leaders on their board and are expanding rapidly and now need to add to their Software Project Management team to serve a growing base of clients.  Much of the work requires prior experience of Agile Scrum methodology and integration of systems.

We are looking for a Software Project Manager with at least 5 years relevant experience and immediate availability.

Role:
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you’ll be responsible for juggling a number of projects within a Scrum delivery process, and managing relationships with key clients.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Acting as Scrum Master for 2 or 3 development teams
  • Owning and proactively driving projects to a successful conclusion

Our client, a leading multi-channel broadcast media company, immediately requires a Programme Manager with deep Telco / Mobile experience and a proven track record of shaping and delivering large and complex programmes in fast moving "product release" environments.

Role Purpose
Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation you will be accountable for shaping and delivering a challenging roadmap of new Mobile / Telco projects for a mixture of regulatory and new product requirements throughout 2015.

A fundamental challenge is to balance the demands from multiple stakeholders from different parts of the business. 

As such you will need to be flexible to changing priorities and comfortable working in fast-paced, changing, release orientated environments.

In your role you will establish close working relationships with key business and technology stakeholders as well as providing direction to Project Managers, 3rd party vendors and Tier 1 Systems Integrators that comprise the Programme Delivery team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Works with the Head of Transformation and Business and Technical Stakeholders to secure multiple business sponsors and benefit owners at Exec Level.
  • Manages financial budgets in excess of £10m (allocated across multiple projects / programmes of work).
  • Analyses the project requirements and defines the project deliverables to meet the benefits identified by the business (likely to be multiple functional changes); contributes to the definition of the business case and financial modelling.
  • Instrumental in the procurement and negotiation of 3rd party contracts and resource.
  • Determines, procures, leads and coaches multiple project teams resources to deliver the programme (internal / contractor / suppliers / Systems Integrators)
  • Implements and maintains a consistent project/programme management methodology ensuring that the project teams conform to appropriate standards.
  • Reviews and monitors project status to provide regular progress reports / executive updates to key stakeholders.
  • Manages and is accountable for all aspects of risk, issues, dependencies and contingency; takes action to manage change and mitigate risks.
Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Mandatory:

  • Strong working knowledge of Mobile /Telco propositions and business operations
  • Exceptional track record of delivering Programmes in excess of £10M in Mobile / Telco in fast moving, release orientated environments
  • Experienced in managing Top Tier Vendor AND Systems Integrators as part of Programme Delivery
