Our client is an exciting and fast paced software
company working with the world's largest online fashion retailers and
fashion brands. Their platform connects Brands and Retailers systems to enable
a supplier’s fulfil model by integration of a Brand's products onto the
websites of premium online fashion retailers.
They have some heavy weight retail leaders on their board
and are expanding rapidly and now need to add to their Software Project
Management team to serve a growing base of clients. Much of the work
requires prior experience of Agile Scrum methodology and integration of systems.
We are looking for a Software Project Manager with at
least 5 years relevant experience and immediate availability.
Role:
Reporting to the
Head of Delivery, you’ll be responsible for juggling a number of projects
within a Scrum delivery process, and managing relationships with key clients.
You will be
responsible for the following:
- Acting as Scrum Master for 2 or 3 development teams
- Owning and proactively driving projects to a successful conclusion
- Collaborating closely with the development manager, business analyst and productowner, to ensure the teams are focused on the right priorities
- Working with outsourced development partners and providing the
appropriate level of collaboration and governance
- Building open and trusted relationships with internal and external
clients
- Helping to promote consistency in process across the SDLC
- Applying a broad toolkit of project management techniques
- Identifying, monitoring and reporting on project progress, risks
and impediments
- Producing high quality project communications, presentations and
visualisations
Key skills/requirements:
Mandatory- At least 5 years experience in a fast paced agile software
development environment (Scrum, XP, preferred)
- Proven track
record of delivery on multiple complete lifecycle software projects
- Significant
experience of client facing duties
- Retail
software development experience
- Integration
software experience
