Our client is retailer with over 300 stores. They
are expanding store numbers and their online presence and require a project
manager with Supply Chain
experience.
The primary need is to manage a project to make changes to their distribution sites to improve the
availability and range of product. This
involves opening and relocating distribution depots including the
people, process and technology implications.
In addition the client is introducing Microsoft
Dynamics as their ERP system which E Commerce platform.
It is hoped that the new project manager will bring some experience of
relevance to this project too.
They are
looking for a Project Manager with experience in reconfiguring distribution
centres to join the Change Management team and play a key role in the delivery
of high priority Supply Chain and E-Commerce projects over the next 2
years.
KEY skills/requirements:
Mandatory- At least 10 years Project Management
Experience
- Worked within Supply Chain projects (Retail
preferred)
- Good understanding and empathy with people
change challenges
Desirable
- Retail ERP experience
- ‘Big 5’ consultancy experience
- Formal Project Management methodologies (such
as Prince 2)
