Role Summary

Our Client is a Financial Services Organisation which has experienced a number of extended outages in a Business Intelligence Cognos application.  The application has significant visibility throughout the organisation and reducing future risk is required to provide more confidence in the Service.

They are introducing a Service Improvement Programme and are looking for a Consultant to deliver this.  The consultant appointed will need to support and generate the required sense of  urgency and provide the required level of control to ensure the outcome is achieved
 
Details

The IT Service Delivery Consultant will be responsible for: 

* Planning and executing the Service Improvement Plan
* Providing coordination and day to day management of the Service Improvement Plan
* Delivery of remediation elements within the Plan  

Key skills and Requirements

Mandatory 

* ITIL and IT Service Operations experience.
* Experience within a support function within a large organisation.
* Strong Project Management Discipline (Prince 2 qualification)

Desirable
 
* Cognos BI (useful but not essential)
