Summary 
Our client, a leading multi-channel broadcast media company, immediately requires a Senior PMO Lead to mobilise and run a 3-4 person PMO within a large and complex Transformation Programme.

This role is all about scope and business case management; programme vision and blueprint development; benefits and quality tracking; stakeholder management materials; programme, tranche and project planning, including milestone management; risk and issue management.

Key Accountabilities: 

Reporting to the Programme Manager, The Senior PMO Lead is accountable for the day-to-day management of the Programme Management Office team and outputs, and amongst other things, will be responsible for the following:

·         design and implementation of appropriate programme controls
·         production of reporting packs (eg steering group, programme reporting) and supporting materials
·         management of overall programme budget
·         benefit identification and realisation
·         capacity planning and resource tracking
·         review of workstream/project RAIDs and taking corrective action
·         identifying and managing cross programme dependencies
·         ensuring efficient change control methods are utilised
·         co-ordinating project closure

Key Skills and Requirements 

Mandatory:

·     "High Calibre PMO Lead" – 10 + years PMO experience, with experience of covering the mobilisation AND operation of PMO functions (3+ people) for large Transformation-led Programmes (£10M + CAPEX) involving complex systems integration components and blended teams (Top Tier SI’s, Interims, Permanent staff, Vendors, business, IT and operastional teams)

·      “Fast Paced” – experience of operating effectively in a fast paced, dynamic, challenging operating environment

·     “Assured / Smooth Operator” – exemplary team and stakeholder management skills, demonstrating gravitas & credibility, impactful, leading by example

·     PMO Methodology SME - deep all-round knowledge of PMO processes, tools, and methodologies and experience of deploying these effectively to suit different operating environments

·     PMO Qualified: in recognised Project and Programme Methodologies (e.g. P3O, MSP, Prince 2, APMP, etc.)
