Our client is a retailer based in
Watford with over 300 stores. Their business Model is gaining traction
and they are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to work with them on a
Programme of Transformation.
The company is introducing a new
ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) and are developing the Physical Supply Chain
arrangements, the Processes and Systems, in tandem with this new investment.
This role requires transformational leadership throughout the Supply Chain.
This is a big project for the
company which will influence their distribution and e commerce activities for
years to come and is an opportunity for a Supply Chain Leader to work with the
company over the next 18 months to get the new Supply Chain operation in place.
Details
The consultant will be responsible for providing
operational leadership in the transformation of the Supply Chain (warehouse
management, distribution and logistics and also service, repair and
maintenance)
The role includes the following
activities:
- Reviewing
and understanding current systems and processes.
- Defining
the current and future operational state
- Developing
new operating processes and procedures.
- Leading the transformational change.
Engaging and influencing stakeholder at all levels.
Key Skills and Requirements
- The
ability to direct teams of people implementing major change on supply
chain process and systems assignments
- Experience
delivering new planning and control processes and ERP support systems in
multiple projects
Excellent understanding of Best Practice in Supply Chain
operations, preferably in a retail environment.
