Role Summary

Our client is a Global Energy Company with a significant and growing Global Learning Organisation (GLO) based in West London. They currently support 70% of all global programme delivery which equates to approx 1300 classroom sessions and 30,000+ delegates attending. This activity creates a large amount of data that needs to be analysed and controlled to generate the accurate management information required by the business.

They are looking for a Data/Business Analyst to join the Learning Systems and Performance team on an interim basis. This role reports to the Systems and Performance Manager and requires up to 5 years relevant business/data analyst experience.

Details

The role has a global remit and the primary accountability is to ensure the team has accurate data in the data systems in place, as well as to assist the reporting analyst to create the appropriate reports to service the needs/interests of various stakeholder groups. Given GLO's remit in mobilising global, and often mandatory programmes, the level, detail and accuracy of data and data systems is critical to ensure accurate reporting for Senior Executive confidence and assure budget spend.

All data systems need to be analysed to ensure all data sources have up to date, correct and quality data information. Where the data needs updating, the data analyst will initiate projects as well as taking over existing projects to cleanse the data, liaising in conjunction with the stakeholders who range from the VTA Team, RISC Team, IBM Team, Systems and Performance Team, Delivery and Logistics teams as well as the executive.

One of the key tools is Dataflux - GLO's de-facto data reconciliation (ETL) tool.
This role is also responsible for on-going support towards the GLO data systems in conjunction with the offshore IT&S teams.

As the data analyst you will be involved in overseeing aspects of day to day data issues within the wider global learning and development team. You will act as the bridge for troubleshooting issues related to all aspects of data and data systems within GLO.
