Our sister company B2E Consulting is working on a project with an African-based Financial Services provider to formulate a proposition for a stored value card using NFC mobile phone technology.


They require a consultant product manager with deep product and commercial understanding of NFC-based solutions to work in Africa with their client to shape and deliver this initiative.




The role involves the following key activities:


* Explain the technological implications of a NFC-based payment system

* Develop the business case for a NFC-based stored value card to be launched across a nation in Africa

* Assess all cost elements required for a nationwide solution

* Assess the revenue opportunity and develop a marketing plan that will underpin  the opportunity

* Develop a development & roll-out plan that ensures first mover advantage

* Work closely with the leading financial services organisation on-site for the duration of the project.

Key Skills and Requirements

* Consultant product manager with significant experience of payment processing industry including stored value NFC card technology

* Commercial as well as technical expertise and a good understanding of the global market of platforms, devices, software, interfaces and costs

* Completely mobile and able to work in Africa for an initial 3 month period (expat T&S terms will be offered)
