Role Summary

This is a role for our Consultancy Company working at a Financial Services Regulatory Organisation.  They have a Programme of Change related activities underway as they increase the scale of operations and change their approach. 

They have created a Data & Analysis department to develop a unified approach to data for the first time and a Data Strategy which will place more reliance on data to gain insight into regulated organisations and make quicker, bolder decisions.

They intend to bring actionable, integrated, accessible data to the Organisation to help meet its objectives 

One of the work streams is "Managing Data Collection" to achieve better engagement with client firms and improve interactions with organisations providing data 

As part of this work stream they are looking for a Business Analyst to design, develop, and document the business approach to Data Governance & Controls and Data Quality and Integrity.

Details 

The Business Analyst will help the data strategy management team and work with two key business managers in the following activities: 

* Develop an understanding  of stakeholder requirements and ideas

* Proactively develop thinking around Data Governance and Controls in the Organisation

* Gain a good understanding of the business to add value in developing solution options and problem solving.

* Develop and own key Documentation,

* Recommend appropriate presentation methods to win approval from Senior Management and Stakeholders

* Facilitate effective 2-way communication between the relevant business stakeholders to gain      buy-in.

* Position business  solutions to best meet stakeholder requirements.

Key Skills and Requirements 

Mandatory 

* Relevant experience in developing and making operational, control policies in complex organisations

* Skills in Requirements gathering and high level policy development

* Experience in defining  data quality and integrity, risk and prioritisation.

Desirable

* Exposure to Financial  Services or a similarly regulated environment.
