Our client immediately requires a senior Systems
Integration / Technical Delivery Lead with large / complex corporate
systems integration experience to assure the delivery of significant
change across a highly complex OSS & BSS technology estate.
This is a hugely challenging and exciting role for
an experienced SI / Technical Lead with an exemplary track record and appetite
for assuring the delivery of high profile, complex systems integration
programmes.

Key Accountabilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes SI,
this role is primarily responsible for all technical and non-technical project
deliverables within the scope of the Programme.
Key activities:
- Review architecture diagrams identifying dependencies as well as reviewing low level component designs with individual teams
- Responsible for ensuring project technical deliverables arrive within agreed scope, quality, timelines and cost using project management tools and methodologies
- Preparation of timely status reports for own and managed work streams
- Stakeholder management through effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders and participation in project change boards
- Work with a number of multiple IT, supplier and readiness teams to ensure that the proposed solutions can be delivered, identifying support mechanisms that will need to be extended to cover new functional areas
- Work closely with individual development, support and operational teams to ensure the planned changes are understood, tracked and implemented in a timely and controlled manner
- Ensure that all changes to systems are appropriately tested before they are transitioned to the live environment, and that individual defects are identified, prioritised and driven to conclusion.
The ideal candidate will have gained their
technical project management expertise delivering large scale IT projects and
will be experienced in utilising SDLC methodologies.
Mandatory
- Full lifecycle SI Technical Lead experience in complex corporate systems integration Programmes (£20m+) using SDLC methodologies demonstrating an excellent track record
- Experience of managing Tier-1 systems integrators / suppliers from definition to delivery
- Experience of delivering effectively in a matrixed, fast moving, release-orientated business environment
Desirable
- Mobile/Telco/ Broadband industry experience
- Tier 1 Systems Integrator / Management Consultancy background.
