FILLED: Project Manager for large Government Data project - Near Southampton- Good Rate
We have an interesting project role working for a government department which provides information to the public using the Census Data. The Census occurs regularly with the next one due in 2011. The department are currently evaluating their downstream systems for managing, analysing and presenting data.
They are looking for a technical project manager to provide strategic direction and planning to the project. This person will be able to evaluate and compare options for the programme including outsourcing.
They will have skills in the following key areas:

IT architecture
IT infrastructure
Strategic direction
The project is for 3 months and is based near Southampton.
