Role Summary
Our client immediately requires a PMO Deployment
specialist to join its Central PMO and continue the implementation of a series
of project and reporting disciplines across the Transformation Programmes that
report into it.
This role is all about Programme/Project
Governance, Exec Reporting and deploying the appropriate techniques to instill
these disciplines across the Transformation Programmes effectively.
Role Purpose
The Central PMO provides board level MI,
and works with all Transformation Programmes to instill appropriate governance,
standards, and PMO processes to help assure the effective delivery of each
programme.
Key Accountabilities:
The PMO Deployment Lead reports directly
into the Central PMO Manager, and will be primarily responsible for:

Making improvements to the
quality of MI provided into the central PMO from the transformation programmes
•
Instilling new processes around
project initiation to ensure that this is efficient and that all requirements are
fed in and impacts upon the business understood
•
Improving inter-programme
dependency management and change request processes
Knowledge,
Experience and Skills
Mandatory:
- Highly
proficient in deploying PMO processes into large and complex
programmes - possessing SME in PMO
methods and techniques AND the coaching, stakeholder management, gravitas
& credibility required to embed these into organisations
- Experience
of working effectively in a PMO deployment role in a fast moving, large
and complex operating environment
- Qualified
in recognised Project and Programme Methodologies (e.g. P3O, MSP, Prince
2, APMP, etc.)
- Project Management background
- Mobile / Telco / Broadband background
