Role Summary

Our Client is looking for a Chief Technical Officer to be a key member of the leadership team, driving the product vision and realisation. This is a very exciting opportunity with a rapidly growing company at the forefront of secure cloud technology.

The ideal candidate should have a combination of technology and commercial skills and the ability to lead a dynamic technical team to deliver the product releases  on time and within budget, which will affect tens of thousands of lives across the world.

The role will suit someone with experience of working in a start up or smaller growing business and is based in London with some travel to client sites.

Details
This role will be responsible for the following activities:
* Vision and strategic leadership for technology and product roadmap
* Shaping and delivering the core product
* Leading, recruiting, building and managing software development teams
* Design of Infrastructure and system architecture
* Collaborating with the Senior Management team on commercial strategy development.

Key skills and Requirements

Understanding of Cloud Technology (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SSO) and IT Security at a business and technical level

 
Experience driving a successful and complex technology product, bringing together technology, strategy and commercial objectives into a long term vision

Understanding of Software development through the full life cycle and familiar with Enterprise, solution and technical architecture principles

Blue chip and either Small/medium sized company or start up essential
