Role Summary

Our client is mid-way through an organisation-wide change programme designed to reduce costs and improve efficiency across its businesses in the UK.

With the organisational & process design phase now complete, they now require an experienced Change Implementation Manager to identify, scope and implement all the 'people aspects' of the proposed changes, and work with business sponsors and project managers to ensure that they are effectively embedded into the new organisations.

Deadline for response: 5 pm Friday 18th May.

Role & Responsibilities

Key aspects of the role will involve:

* defining and applying a change management approach and structure which is tuned to the needs of those impacted by the changes

* creating and implementing a set of actionable change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement, driving faster adoption of the proposed changes

* supporting workstream specialists (e.g. OD, training, comms) in integrating change management activities into their project plans and formulating specific change activities to support the implementation

* identifying potential areas of resistance and people-side risks and developing specific plans to address these concerns

* acting as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor throughout the implementation phase

* providing direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions

* creating means of measuring the adoption and proficiency of the changes to retain focus on achieving targeted business results.

Key Skills and Requirements
Essential

* Proven track record in successfully implementing organisational change within large-scale organisations

* Experienced Change Management practitioner with deep knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, and experience of applying these appropriately to different environments

* Strong sponsor coaching / project facilitation skills - possessing the gravitas, credibility, and hands on ability to effectively operate at all levels within the organisation

Desired

* Previous experience of implementing organisational changes in construction / engineering industries.
