Role Summary

Our sister company, B2E Consulting, is working on a proposal to provide a leading Financial Services Organisation with a number of consultants to work on a major IT transformation programme over the next 2 years. 

They specifically require interim consultants with expertise in RUP (Rational Unified Process) Process Engineering, who are either currently available, or coming free  between now and the end of the year. 

The activities involved in this role are: 

* The development and maintenance of the  methodologies for applications design and development, primarily using IBM Rational Method Composer

* The development and maintenance of standard documentation templates based on RUP for use on projects

* Providing guidance and coaching to projects to ensure the most appropriate RUP-based methodology is selected. 

We are developing a shortlist of interested Consultants to work in these roles.

Key skills and Requirements 

* A deep and up-to-date understanding of development methodologies, in particular iterative and agile methods, but also the Waterfall method to understand the key  differences in approach

* Expert proficiency with the RUP lifecycle and RUP best practice

* Past experience of customising the RUP lifecycle with IBM Rational Method Composer for use on projects
