Our Client is a leading, Magic Circle, global Law Firm with an outstanding reputation for delivering high value, high quality and innovative Professional Services to leading institutions globally.

They have an internal Business Improvement function which provides consulting support and project management delivery for firm-wide initiatives working with Senior Lawyers.

The focus is on improving the efficiency of their deals with clients; these are large complex programmes in their own right with great scope for improvements in the way they are handled. 

The Legal Project Manager will be responsible for supporting large complex pieces of client work and bringing about business process improvement in the firm.

  • Leading the work to scope, structure and plan different projects on behalf of practices/functions.
  • Managing delivery of requirements to plan from set-up to close
  • Working with the Head of Project Services to ensure proper governance, control and monitoring of projects;
  • Providing ad hoc consultancy advice and assistance to other projects (e.g. in relation to change management, budgeting, communications, implementation)
  • Supporting the building of the firm's project management capability (e.g. via training or other best practice initiatives).
  • Providing coordination between clients and the internal team for reporting and communications
Key Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be sharp and incisive, able to thrive in a demanding professional and intellectual milieu, having had some experience in a top tier consulting environment.

                    Experience of delivering large scale, multi-functional, multi-geography projects within a world-class organisation

                    Specialist knowledge of one or more relevant project management skills / disciplines (e.g. change management, risk analysis)

                    Experience in overcoming "barriers to progress", and reaching mutually acceptable outcomes with multiple difficult stakeholders

Our client is an exciting and fast-paced software company working with the world's largest online fashion retailers and fashion brands. Their platform connects Brands and Retailers systems to enable a supplier fulfil model by integration of a Brand's products onto the websites of premium online fashion retailers. 

They are expanding rapidly and now need to add to their business analyst team to serve a growing base of clients.  Much of the work requires prior experience of ETL, databases, data mapping and data integration.

We are looking or Data/Business Analyst with at least 5 years relevant experience.

The clients platforms provide a single integration that can scale across multiple strategic partners, it gives full visibility across the entire customer journey and supply chain, while providing huge costs savings and speed to market. The system uses uptotheminute sales data and analytics to enable the retailer to create the perfect stock mix, it is uniquely positioned to eliminate inaccuracies in the buying process, missed sales and fragmented ranges while driving large incremental sales.

The client is seeking a commercially aware professional individual with experience of ETL, databases, data mapping and data integration.  You will be working with a growing portfolio of clients and you will guarantee the success of these relationships by establishing a strong working rapport and understanding how these businesses operate from their core values all the way down to their business data. Our client is retailer with over 300 stores.  They are expanding store numbers and their online presence and require a project manager with Supply Chain experience.
 
The primary need is to manage a project to make changes to their distribution sites to improve the availability and range of product. This involves opening and relocating distribution depots including the people, process and technology implications.

In addition the client is introducing Microsoft Dynamics as their ERP system which E Commerce platform.  It is hoped that the new project manager will bring some experience of relevance to this project too.

They are looking for a Project Manager with experience in reconfiguring distribution centres to join the Change Management team and play a key role in the delivery of high priority Supply Chain and E-Commerce projects over the next 2 years. 


KEY skills/requirements:
Mandatory

  • At least 10 years Project Management Experience
  • Worked within Supply Chain projects (Retail preferred)
  • Good understanding and empathy with people change challenges

Desirable

  • Retail ERP experience
  • ‘Big 5’ consultancy experience
  • Formal Project Management methodologies (such as Prince 2)

Role Summary


Our Client is a small but growing supplier of platform software which connects multiple clients in the Criminal Justice arena to improve the education of Offenders.  This is a priority area for investment by Government, from which the business is benefiting, by supplying cloud based data partnerships to enable multiple agencies to work together securely.

They are looking for an IT Project Manager with great client facing skills and extensive experience delivering end to end web-based software solutions to work on one of their main client accounts.

The role is based in London with some travel to client sites.




Role Description


The primary objective of the role is to ensure the smooth and timely deployment of new software releases with a strong focus on client management.


As such, the role has two main components:


1) Client / Relationship Management


* Ascertain what is important to the client, shaping and controlling scope, building momentum around new releases

* Report progress on new releases, manage expectations , change requirements, meet deadlines

* Build effective and sustainable client relationships, establish trust and credibility

* Manage multiple stakeholders


2) Project Management


* Plan, directing and co-ordinating activities to implement projects from initiation to final operational stage

* Determine requirements and translate these into detailed plans and specifications, manage and report on plans and milestones

* Set up and manage IT project budgets from initial estimates through to project completion

* Manage RAIDs from project start-up through the lifecycle of the project

* Oversee the progress of in-house development teams operating to ensure that releases reflect original requirements, timelines, and benefits

* Manage change requests, track benefits

* Set up and deliver software development, deployment, testing and training across multiple locations.


Key skills and Requirements



* Strong project management skills, SDLC experienced, with strong track record of IT Delivery (preferably in web-based solutions)

* Proven experience of developing strong client relationships through effective service delivery (preferably in the Public Sector)

* Methodical and structured, but with the ability to adapt management style to work effectively and deliver in small, less structured environments
