Our client, a financial services organisation, requires a project manager to lead the integration of a new Application Management (ALM) tool across all projects within the client's Information Systems Investment Programme.

The aim of the new tool is to make Operations and Project costs and performance transparent and predictable and improve them over time.

The role requires Structured Project Manager experience in large, complex programmes and a good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Details

The primary goal of this project is to provide a single and consistent view of project information right from requirements management through to design, build, test and release.

An Application Lifecycle Management Tool has recently been implemented to do this. This has the capability to integrate with a number of other tools used by the client within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The tool is going to be used by all projects for development and test management activities, which presents an opportunity to further extend the tool's capabilities into other stages of the SDLC, facilitating effective end-to-end IS delivery using an integrated toolset.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Experience of implementing systems in large and complex programme delivery environments (e.g. £20M+ Programmes)

• Strong, structured full lifecycle project management, deeply conversant with major project and development methodologies (e.g. SDLC, MSP, Prince 2)

• Strong technical and testing background with exposure to tier 1 testing toolkits an advantage
