Role Summary
Our Client is a Global Professional Services
Organisation.
They are looking for an IT Service Manager to join one of
their Business areas, managing the interface with IT Services and Data Centre
Services for this part of the organisation.
The role requires close working with the Data Centre
Operations Team, IT Service Delivery,
Service Management and global Support teams
This role can be done on either an Interim or a Permanent
basis.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the Business Relationship with IT Service Delivery and Data Centre Services and for continually improving the efficiency and quality of services. It requires the following activities:
* Working with the IT service delivery team and business team to provide end to end IT Services.
* Providing end-to-end service documentation and reporting including SLA-Reporting, Maintenance Plans, Escalation Procedures, Service Improvement Plans
* Analysing demand for services and influencing stakeholders to ensure that the necessary investments are made.
* Understanding available IT services and promoting Service and Support awareness within the business stakeholder group
* Managing Problems, Major Incidents Root Cause Analysis and Continuous improvement
* Liaising with Service Management and where appropriate other teams to resolve or escalate faults, problems and issues that have been escalated by team members
* Organizing and conducting regular Service Review Meetings with IT Service Delivery and Business Teams
* Reviewing new project requirements in terms of architecture, technical, support and service design
* Ensuring adequate project support resource planning
