Role Summary

Our client B2E Consulting is preparing to bid for Leadership Development work in the NHS. If successful B2E Consulting will be added to a framework agreement and be eligible for contracts to help support the new GP Consortia in the London Region.

We are looking for consultants who would be interested in working on the project if the bid is successful and are happy for their information to be included in the bid process.

Background to the Bid

GP Consortia will be responsible for commissioning and purchasing healthcare following the abolition of the Primary Care Trusts. The bid is to provide them with the relevant organisation development and leadership skills to carry out this new function.

KPMG have been engaged to develop a toolkit to help GP's in their new role in commissioning healthcare in London. The toolkit will cover three aspects of support for GP's:

· development for individual leaders

· development of leadership teams

· organisational development

The successful bidders will be providing leadership and organization development coaching for the consortia over the next few years using the toolkit

The toolkit will include a range of interventions such as:

· 360 degree feedback

· Individual leadership development plans

· Team leadership development plans

· Leadership development

· Coaching

· Organisational development plans (including governance and key business actions)
outlining the steps that the pathfinder will need to take to achieve authorisation in March 2012

· Resources and 'how to' guides

· Self-assessment tools which include business challenges

Key skills and Requirements

We are looking for consultants who are willing to lend their experience to the proposal and who would be interested in taking a role in any subsequent work that follows from the bid.

To be successful they will require the following Key/Skills

· Leadership, Organisational development and Coaching skills and experience.

· Experience of these activities working with GP's or in the NHS is particularly
sought after
