Role Summary

Following on from a corporate acquisition, our client is in the middle of a multi-million pound transformation programme required to enable its technology, processes and people to operate as a separate entity.

They immediately require a certified Six Sigma Black Belt / Lean expert with deep experience of improving transactional processes to join their team and work with different areas of the business to review existing processes and define improvements using these approaches.

Role Detail

The scope of this process improvement programme includes the entire back office operations of the client.

Working as part of a small team, the consultant will be allocated to different areas of the business to work with project teams set up to review and improve business processes.

The main responsibilities involve working with the project teams to instil a consistent LSS approach to BPR activities and developing knowledge bases of methods, tools and approaches that can be adopted across the programme.

Key Skills and Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a combination of Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt skills and the experience of implementing process improvements across a number of different cultures and environments thus being able to demonstrate flexibility in approach.

* Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
* Lean Manufacturing experience
* Deeply experienced in improving transactional processes across back office operations
* Effective influencer / strong change management skills / self-starter

Desirable requirements:

* Prince 2 / MSP practitioner
* Lean Six Sigma training experience
