Role Summary

Our client, a leading global investment bank, immediately requires a consultant with experience of securities pricing processes to define a new pricing data strategy to improve its product pricing processes.

Role Detail

The scope of the role covers the evaluation of existing pricing data processes and the tolerances set for the securities being valued (e.g bonds, swaps, equities).

The key tasks are:


* to review internally with stakeholders and conduct external market analysis on all types of securities to determine to define best practice
* to review existing pricing data processes (these vary by product with different systems used for pricing different products), determine the impact of proposed changes upon existing systems, and make tactical recommendations for improvement
* to ensure that the proposed pricing data strategy is included in the requirements for the strategic global replacement of existing pricing systems ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Role Summary

Following on from a corporate acquisition, our client is in the middle of a multi-million pound transformation programme required to separate its operations from the selling company and transform its business.

They immediately require an experienced interim project manager with a Big 5 consulting background to steer and deliver a high profile end user computing initative that impacts all employees in the business.

Role Detail

This role fits within a business-wide IT Infrastructure Programme rollout scheduled over the next 18 months incorporating step change software and hardware rolluts.
The End User Computing project is primarily focussed on the development of business user computing requirements to improve and enhance workplace connectivity and also productivity for the client's 2200 employees.

Working with the IT work-stream lead and reporting to the Transformation Director, the project manager will define the key stakeholder groups across the business, define their diverse set of user requirements, liaise with IT to determine what can be delivered, and then manage the delivery of the solution.

Key tasks:


* Develop, deliver and implement appropriately detailed project plans for the end user computing project
* Apply project management tools as determined by the Business Lead around risk and issue management, status reporting, stakeholder management and benefits realisation.
* Manage project interdependencies with counterpart projects within the Programme, taking any issues to resolve to the relevant forum.
* Ensure that key stakeholders are identified and managed to facilitate project delivery (this initiative impacts CEO to shop floor)
* Take ownership and be proactive to ensure quality and timely delivery while keeping stakeholders appraised.

Key Skills and Requirements

Given its high profile within the business, senior stakeholder management is central to the success of this role. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Big 5 consulting background at manager to senior manager level, and will be comfortable operating at C-level and liaising with multiple business stakeholders in a complex environment.

* Experience of delivering business-led IT projects within a complex stakeholder environment (acting as a bridge between Business and IT to achieve improved business
outcomes)
* Effective influencer / exceptional stakeholder management skills / self-starter
* Big 5 consulting background
* Educated to degree level

Desirable requirements:

Working as part of a small team, the consultant will be allocated to different areas of the business to work with project teams set up to review and improve business processes.

The main responsibilities involve working with the project teams to instil a consistent LSS approach to BPR activities and developing knowledge bases of methods, tools and approaches that can be adopted across the programme.

Our client, a niche consulting company, is working with a global mobile communications company. They immediately require an interim consultant with global HR SAP implementation experience to join their team and conduct a review of their client's global HR SAP rollout programme against a new business operating model.

Key Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an experienced project manager, with deep global HR SAP experience who can act as a bridge between business and IT.

Mandatory requirements are:

* Full lifecycle experience of implementing HR SAP across multiple countries
* Experience of rolling out standardised processes across countries to support HR SAP AND knowledge of how to configure SAP locally for non-standard implementations
* Excellent suite of project management, consulting and stakeholder management skills
