Role Summary
Our client is an innovative provider of employee reward
& benefits software solutions with an enviable and growing list of blue
chip clients.
The Workplace Pension initiative has driven companies to
focus on providing at least a minimal level of employee benefits. With its
focus on innovative and highly configurable software application solutions, the
client is exceptionally well-placed in their
market to capitalise upon this demand.
They are looking a client-facing project manager to
manage the relationship of one of their key client accounts, and to take
ownership for the internal delivery of
all implementation projects to agreed budget, scope, quality and
timescales.
Whilst you don't need to have employee benefits or reward
experience, you will have a passion for delivering successful application
software projects, a track record of achieving client satisfaction, and strong
leadership / interpersonal skills.
Role Detail
Reporting directly to the Head of Client Relationships, the
Client Account Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
Client Relationship Management - Full responsibility for
selected client relationships:
Managing client expectations in line with contractually
agreed scope, managing change requests, identifying new opportunities,
developing client relationships, external reporting on client projects.
Internal Stakeholder Management - working with internal
stakeholders to ensure all resources are prioritised accordingly for client
projects, managing the virtual team, internal project reporting to senior
management.
Project Management - Responsible for all aspects of
project management for application solutions delivered to the client (e.g.
scoping, requirements, financials, risks
/ issue / dependency management, progress reporting, stakeholder
management).
Leadership and Personnel Development - acting as a
manager and mentor to business analysts assigned to client projects, monitoring
individual analyst performance against career development objectives.
Skills and Experience Required
* Project Management - 5 years + full lifecycle project
management experience, preferably with PM qualifications (e.g. Prince 2,
Agile), comfortable instilling appropriate PM methodology to ensure effective
project delivery.
* Client Relationship Management - experience of
developing effective client relationships for delivering solutions in line with
contractually agreed scope.
* Applications Software experience - Experience of
delivering application software-led solutions to clients (e.g. Oracle Finance,
Peoplesoft, other emerging web-based solutions) gained either at a software applications
company, or at a management consulting firm.
