Role Summary
Our global client is a market-leading producer of
hi-tech communications & computer products and applications.
They require a business analyst to join
their team to work on a programme to implement a new B2B sales pipeline process
(Lead to Order) and supporting CRM system across EMEIA as part of a global
rollout.
Role & Responsibilities:
This hands-on role reports into the CRM Project
Manager and sits within the EMEIA and World Wide (WW) Sales BPR & Business
Solutions function, created to manage and deliver strategic projects for the
B2B Sales Function on a regional or global basis.
The role involves working autonomously alongside
multiple areas across the organisation (e.g. functional SMEs, internal IT and 3rd
party suppliers) and the WorldWide Programme Management function that owns the
design and development of the CRM solution.
The key responsibilities involve:
- Full Lifecycle Business Analysis – defining and documenting requirements for the new B2B Lead to Order process for the EMEIA region, facilitating workshops with multiple EMEIA stakeholders to gain consensus, liaising with global IT, mapping and designing new processes, planning, creating and running test scripts and UAT
- Project Management Support– working with the CRM Project Manger defining project roadmap/ scope/ deliverables/ budget/ resource requirements, managing risks / issues / dependencies, co-ordinating activities across the functional /IT/ vendor teams, communicating status
- Stakeholder Management - actively managing a functionally and geographically diverse set of stakeholders to ensure consensus and maintain focus
Key Skills and Requirements
The following experience is mandatory:
- Recent BA experience implementing CRM solutions at a regional or global level (ideally in a B2B sales environment)
- Strong knowledge of the Sales Pipeline process (Lead to Order)
- Experienced in operating autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed, ambiguous corporate environments to deliver result
- End-to-End project lifecycle experience demonstrating well-rounded Business Analysis skills
- Business focused, but with an appreciation of the technical / systems considerations involved in building corporate solutions
In addition to this, the following would be
advantageous:
- Experience of working with Sugar CRM
- Business Analysis or Project management qualifications (e.g. Prince2, ISEB, MSP, ITIL)
