Deadline: 4pm Tuesday 22nd October. This is an urgent role which has to start on  28th October.  You will need to be immediately available and have availability for interview on Thursday 24th October in Canary Wharf.

Role Summary

Our sister company B2ER Consulting urgently requires an experienced consultant with SME in reviewing, defining and delivering multi-million £ complex IS outsourcing  agreements to work with one of their Financial Services clients. 

Role Detail 

The financial services client has a number of outsourced contracts that cover the full range of IS services: 

* Service desk & end user computing

* Hosting (DC hosting, storage, server/platform operations and infrastructure application)

* Networking & telephony

* Infrastructure project services

* Application development, test & maintenance 

These contracts are due for renewal over the coming months and years. In order to ensure an appropriate future landscape, the client is refreshing its IS sourcing  strategy, ahead of re-tendering and transitioning to new suppliers. 

An interim consultant with SME in the above is required to work closely with the  Accountable Executive and the IS leadership team to deliver this work. 

Specific responsibilities 

* To ensure the project is successfully mobilised over a 6 week period

* To mobilise and then manage the project through start up and design work (which would be building a business case for future outsourcing and then developing requirements)  

Key skills and Requirements

Essential 

* Excellent project management skills, with experience of delivering complex IS outsourcing with multimillion £ values

* Managing outsourcing projects across the first part of the lifecycle (in v outsource decision, business case development, and tendering)

* Experience across a broad range of IT services, including complex, multi-vendor IS environments

Desirable 

* Managing outsourcing projects across the full lifecycle (above plus contract negotiation and transition to new suppliers - including technical transition, comms and TUPE)

* Experience of infrastructure services in particular

* Financial Services experience

* Experience of working within an OJEU framework
