FILLED: Interim: #DB6028 Digital Project Manager

Summary

Our client, a leading utilities organisation, has an urgent requirement for an interim digital/web project manager to deliver an innovative multi-channel digital initiative commissioned to communicate new 'corporate sustainability' messages out to its customers and shareholders.

Role and Responsibilities

The Digital / Web project manager will be expected to:

· Define the detailed roadmap and success criteria for the initiative (the high level scoping phase has just been completed)

· Add value to the delivery aspects of this project through their understanding of digital, from a technical and a business perspective.

· Support and guide stakeholders to align their activities - whether they want to create a social network, a CRM tool or a marketing plan - with the digital agenda.

· Effectively manage the project team and 3rd party suppliers (digital agencies)

Skills and Experience

To apply for this role, you MUST have the following skills and experience:

1) A Digital Background

i.e. have a solid understanding of web-based technologies and the the role of digital technologies in a multi-channel organisation.

2) Robust Project management skills

i.e. have full lifecycle experience of running complex, multi-stranded projects with a variety of digital and non-digital aspects and stakeholders

3) Strong Stakeholder management and communication skills

i.e. be a good communicator and influencer who understands different agendas within the business and can roll out communication plans.

The ideal candidate for this role will meet all the above criteria and add value to the shape and direction of the digital initiative by demonstrating business acumen.

Logistics

Rate: Up to £500 per day depending upon experience.
Location: South East London
Duration: 6 months with strong possibility of extension
