Role Summary

Our client is a specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy. They are in the final stages of bidding for some work with a global technology company.

There are looking for a couple of Sourcing Consultants to join their team.

Role

The client needs someone who has experience of running the end to end RFP process. This project begins after the RFPs are written and the supplier list selected.

The role is to :

• Run the RFP.
• Chase responses.
• Analyse and present finding to client.
• Set up and run on-site reviews.
• Help with selection of suppliers and input to contracting.
• Then set up and run the pilot and then roll out across Europe

Ideal person - Someone who can demonstrate extensive sourcing skills and understands technology , ideally with experience in reverse logistics but at least supply chain expertise would be necessary.

One consultant will have deep experience with Logistics the other with Call Centres.

The role is virtually full time from May 2013 to March 2014

Role Summary

Our client is a Financial Services Regulatory Organisation undergoing transformation of their Regulatory activities

This is a secondment to a line role based in the Data & Analysis Team within Policy Risk and Research.

The role has two key objectives -

• to define the approach to data quality
• to define the Data Governance policies

The role will report to the Head of Dept for the Data & Analysis Team and will work closely on a day to day basis with managers across the team.

Key Skills/Requirements

• The individual will need to assess the way the organisation manages data quality and governs its data quickly

• Be able to shape/influence the way the organisation delivers actionable, integrated and accessible data, through improvements to data quality and governance

• The individual needs be a Confident team worker action orientated and able to create a 'delivery drumbeat'

Role Summary

Our client is a Financial Services Regulatory Organisation undergoing transformation of their Regulatory activities

They are asking firms to provide them with standardised information on their activities

This amounts to a significant amount of data from around 500 firms which needs structuring, managing and analyzing to decide the approach required for supervision of the firms.

The role will be responsible for building deep relationships with front line staff who rely on and need this integrated data in their day to day activities in Authorisation, Policy, Supervision, Risk, and Enforcement.

Based on these relationships the role will then be responsible for establishing high level statements of need from the stakeholders on the data they use to gain insight and answer questions about what is happening in the UK FS markets.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Building Strong relationships with front line staff - building rapport and gaining trust

• Understanding their use of data and conceptualising how the data strategy might work

• Awareness & experience of 'big data' & data mining projects including experience of data mining projects outside and within Financial Services

Role Summary

Our client is a Financial Services Regulatory Organisation. They are transforming their Regulatory activities

They are asking firms to provide them with standardised information on management information metrics used to manage their businesses.

This amounts to a significant amount of data from around 500 firms which needs structuring, managing and analyzing to decide the approach required for supervision of the firms.

The role will be responsible for shaping the deliverables and assisting with the implementation of the data strategy.

This role will report into the Programme Manager for the Data Strategy delivery work and work closely with him.

Relevant Experience

• Demonstrable experience of shaping projects delivering transformation and within a Data strategy Programme
• Awareness & experience of 'big data' & data mining projects

Summary

This amounts to a significant amount of data from around 500 firms which needs structuring, managing and analyzing to decide the approach required for supervision of the firms.

To begin implementation of the Data Strategy there is a need for a lead to be responsible for designing and delivering all of the technical architecture deliverables that are required to make the Data Management Model happen.

Key Skills/Requirements

• Technical Architect with ability to understand Data strategy across large organisations and full life cycle Technical Architecture Development experience.

• The emphasis is on Designing Technical Architecture Target Operating Models including the Business Model, the Conceptual model and the Data Technical/infrastructure architecture, and multiple instances of this are required.

• Developing an in-depth and demonstrable understanding of the Data Strategy and the guiding principles behind it and acting as a credible advocate of the Data Strategy across the Organisation
